A few ways to say Thank You

Hello Hello! Shemaine here today bringing you some YES inspiration.

I really enjoy making Thank you cards for friends and family. A thank you said is great but a handmade thank you card really says you are appreciated in my opinion.

Here'a a few cards I created using the Your Everyday Stamps Thank You stamp.

I kept this one pretty simple and clean. I've started pushing myself to stamp in colored ink so I chose Colorbox Robin's Egg. I embossed a wood veneer in silver and used some silver washi tape from Little B.

For this card I thought it would be fun to use the sentiment to create a background pattern. I used Colorbox pigment ink in Magenta to stamp my pattern. I finished it off with some twine, sequins and wood shapes I had in my stash.

I hope you have a few new ideas for creating some Thank You cards.

Have a great day!

Watercolor Fun!

Hey there!  I wanted to share a card that I made using the Months set and also the Thank You stamp.  Super easy and I love the way it turned out.

I created used Distress Inks on Watercolor paper and heat set it.  I then splattered water on it and blotted the pools away with a paper towel.   I then stamped the frame and sentiment with VersaMark, put Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder by Ranger and heated it up.  I then trimmed it and added the sequins.

Super easy!   Hope you enjoy your weekend!   Come back next week for some fun shares and a video or two!

Day 4 DT Reveal!

It's been fun so far right?  Absolutely!!   So today we have our last DT announcement for this month.
Today's fabulous gal is:

Linda Barber

Something about Linda in her own words:

I’ve lived all over the world, but Los Angeles is where I currently call home. From here, I like to take trips as often as possible, near and far. 99% of the time with the family.
I used to be a graphic designer and art director, now I raise boys (three!) and sit on the PTA board.  I still do graphic design for friends (invitations and birth announcements galore), and scrapbook and stamp when I get a chance.

WOO HOO!

Now what we can expect from Linda:

So fun!   Leave a comment welcoming Linda and be entered to win a planner with the Starter set!
