Watercolor Fun!

Hey there!  I wanted to share a card that I made using the Months set and also the Thank You stamp.  Super easy and I love the way it turned out.

I created used Distress Inks on Watercolor paper and heat set it.  I then splattered water on it and blotted the pools away with a paper towel.   I then stamped the frame and sentiment with VersaMark, put Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder by Ranger and heated it up.  I then trimmed it and added the sequins.

Something about Linda in her own words:

I’ve lived all over the world, but Los Angeles is where I currently call home. From here, I like to take trips as often as possible, near and far. 99% of the time with the family.

I used to be a graphic designer and art director, now I raise boys (three!) and sit on the PTA board.  I still do graphic design for friends (invitations and birth announcements galore), and scrapbook and stamp when I get a chance.

Here's a bit about her in her own words:

Hello from sunny Southern California!  My name is Shemaine, and I am a work at home mom to two wonderful kids. I'm lucky to be married to a great guy who gets my wicked obsession for creating with paper and doesn't mind me leaving a trail of scraps all over our home. 

A few things you might not know about me,  I love Good & Plenty candy, walks along the strand in Manhattan Beach on Sundays with my family and I’m a crime show junkie to boot!  If my dreams of paper and glue forever were to fade, I can always become a profiler with all the knowledge I have gained from my obsessive watching.  Music is a must in my life, nothing inspires me more.  I love card making and find that it relaxes me to create everyday.

Lisa has been creative in some way ever since she was a little girl. From crochet, to cross-stitch, to silk ribbon embroidery and now to her current love of mixed media and ALL things paper crafts. You could say that it's in her blood. She loves the creative process...and getting messy.

She is a stay-at-home “mom” to two beautiful Ragdoll kitties (and will gladly share photos) and is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

(She currently designs for Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft®, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®, The Bloom Girls by Jamie Dougherty, and Technique Tuesday Greenhouse Society.)

Hello!   So this week we are introducing our Design Team.   Let me tell you they are FABULOUS!  I am sure you will be getting some fantastic inspiration from these ladies.

Today we are introducing  ANN CORBIERE-SCOTT!

Here she telling us about  her in her own words:

Hi, my name is Ann Corbiere-Scott and I LOVE art! I love everything about art, the colors, the patterns, the textures, the emotions and the whimsy. I am a maker, a maker of a lot of things, paper, fabric, yarn, you get the idea. I was a maker long before it was a cool moniker.

I also love, my fantastic family, a great story, a great Junque adventure, capturing moments with my iPhone, and my doggies!

I live in sunny Arizona, hail from the great state of Michigan, and have 73 first cousins!

I create art every day and hope you do too!
